Well, here we are
Every coder's first program prints two words: Hello, World! It's the proof that the thing works. So it felt only right that my very first blog post gets the same treatment.
Hi. I'm Ashleigh Mullen. I run NWood Studio, and I've spent the last nine years helping businesses and people show up online in a way that actually reflects who they are. This year I went all in on it, full time. And this little corner of the internet is where I'll be sharing what I'm building, what I'm learning, and how you can put your best work where people can find it.
Recognized as one of the Influential Women of 2026
I'll be honest. I'm better at hyping up other people than talking about myself. But this one deserves a moment.
I was named one of the Influential Women of 2026. I got to sit down for an interview, share a bit of my story, and walk away with a plaque that now has a very proud spot in my office. Being recognized alongside so many incredible women was truly an honor, and I'm still a little floored by it.
Here's the promo vid:
That moment got me thinking. A recognition like this is amazing. But where does it live after the event? On a shelf. In a camera roll. Buried in a LinkedIn feed by Thursday. That's exactly the problem I've been solving for people.
Your digital footprint is your first impression
Before anyone calls you, hires you, or books you, they look you up. Every time.
So what do they find? For most people it's a scattered mess. A resume sitting in a PDF somewhere. A LinkedIn profile that hasn't been touched since the last job hunt. Certifications in a drawer. Wins and milestones nobody outside your inner circle ever heard about.
The job market is crowded. Hiring managers are skimming hundreds of applicants who look the same on paper. The people who stand out are the ones who make it easy to see the whole picture. Not just what they did, but who they are and why it matters.
→ Enter the Authority Profile Site
An Authority Profile Site is your career, all in one place, with your name on the door. It pulls together everything that makes you, you:
→ Your resume and work history
→ Your LinkedIn and other professional profiles
→ Certifications, licenses, and schooling
→ Awards, recognition, and press (hello, plaque)
→ The wins, projects, and milestones you're quietly proud of
→ Video, testimonials, and anything that shows how you work
Instead of sending someone five links and a PDF, you send one. Your site. It tells your story the way you'd tell it, and it sets you apart from every other applicant who stopped at a resume.
A few I've built lately:
I'd rather show you than tell you. Here are some of the Authority Profile Sites I've built through NWood Studio:
• rebeccathecloser.com: A clean, confident home base for a high-ticket closer. Her experience, her results, and her personality, all in one scroll.
• isabellacloses.com: Built to make a strong first impression fast, so anyone checking her out knows exactly who she is and what she brings.
• jocelynamayacloser.com: A full redesign. Jocelyn already had a site, but it wasn't doing her justice. Now it does.
Every one of these started the same way. Someone with real talent and a scattered online presence. Every one ended with a site they're proud to send to anyone.
Your turn!
You've worked hard for everything on your resume. The degrees, the certs, the promotions, the late nights, the awards you never posted about. It deserves better than a forgotten PDF.
If you're job hunting, building a personal brand, or just ready to stop being invisible online, let's build your Authority Profile Site. Head to https://www.nwoodstudio.com/authority-profile/cold/ and let's talk.
Hello, world. Let's get you seen.
